Holiday Beauty Gift Guide 2016
Hi Beauties!
The countdown to the holidays has begun! Christmas is rapidly approaching with under 8 days to go. If you are still searching for that perfect gift, I put together some beauty items that would be great gift ideas. Some are higher end and some are lower end items. I also threw in some stocking stuffer options.
Let’s get started shall we!
1. Too Faced Peach Collection:
"The peach panic is over!" Too Faced has restocked their coveted Sweet Peach palette that was launched earlier this year. The palette was in and out of stock and has been sold out for months now. I was lucky to get my hands on the palette when it first released (see review). The brand has taken it to the next level and created an entire collection based on peach infused items.
The collection includes:
-Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Palette (of course), $59
-Sweet Peach Glow Peach-Infused Highlighting Palette, $52
-Peach Lip Oil Glosses, $24
- Sweet Peach Papa Don’t Peach Blush, $38
I believe the eye shadow and highlighting palette are the star of this collection however many would be pleased owning any of the above items. The collection is available on Sephora.com and Toofaced.com.
2. Mac Mariah Carey Collection:
Mac has collaborated with singer Mariah Carey for their second holiday collection. This collection is just stunning! The packaging symbolizes Mariah's glamour with all the glitter and sparkles. The lipsticks are even engraved with her signature butterfly. I own a few items from this collection and hoping to receive a few items for gifts. I will have a review up soon with my picks. The collection ranges from lipstick, glosses, shadows, compacts, makeup brushes and more. There is something for everyone. Items are selling out fast so hurry and head to a Mac Store or shop online.
3. Tarte Tarteist Pro Palettes:
Tarte released two pro palettes as part of their holiday collection. The Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay Palette and the Glow, Highlight & Contour Palette. The eye shadow palette contains 20 ultra-pigmented shades made with naturally-derived ingredients and retails for $69. The highlight and the contour palette includes 6 powder and cream shades to create the perfect glow and retails for $59. You can shop these items here.
4. Marc Jacobs - Object Of Desire Face and Eye Palette:
This limited edition face and eye palette was released as part of Marc Jacob Beauty's holiday collection. The palette includes a blush, bronzer, a limited-edition luminizer, and six eye shadows that are housed in a metallic gold patent leather case. Zipped with a swinging tassel, this pouch can be used as an evening bag. The palette retails for $86 but is currently on sale for $63 on Sephora.com.
5. Tom Ford Lips & Boys Lip Color:
Tom Ford has released 25 new boys in a matte finish for the first time. These mini lipsticks are so cute and the packaging is so chic. There are 25 other shades in this collection and they are all named after men that Tom admires. The boys retail for $44 and is available at Sephora and Nordstrom.
Stocking Stuffers:
6. Tarte Pro-to Go Palettes:
Tarte created portable, travel friendly versions of the Tarteist Pro palettes mentioned above. The Glow to Go Highlight & Contour Palette features two highlight shades and one contour shade. The Pro to go palette features 6 neutral tone shades. These palettes are so cute and would make great stocking stuffers. Each palette retails for $30 and is sold at Sephora, Tarte and Ulta.
7. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Mini Lipstick Trio:
The limited edition set includes three mini lipstick charms in the brands top selling shades. The shades are Amazing Grace, Red Carpet Red and Very Victoria. The cute lipsticks can be used as decoration for your Christmas tree. The set retails for $50 and is sold at Nordstrom.
8. Too Faced Chocolate Chip Palette:
The well known Chocolate Bar palette got a mini matte makeover. The Chocolate Chip Matte features 11 iconic shades from the Chocolate Bar palette in matte finishes. This palette retails for $32 and can be purchased on Toofaced.com. There is also a White Chocolate Chip Palette but it's impossible to find at the moment.
