Marc Jacobs Eye-conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette: Frivoluxe - Review, Photos and Swatches
Inspired by the runway, Marc Jacob's Beauty has created ultra-luxe eyeshadow palettes that feature four fashion textures: buttery matte velvet, shimmering satin, sparkling silk and metallic lamé. Each curated palette includes a mix of neutral shades and a pop of colour. There are six different colour options. and they retail for $64 CAD. Today I will be sharing my thoughts and swatches of the Frivoluxe Palette.
The Frivoluxe Palette is described as a chilled greige and violet palette. It contains an assortment of pink, mauve and purples. The slim chic packaging has an oblong mirror on the inside. The palette has seven shadows that were inspired by textiles and layering and that's where the four fashion textures derived from. If you read the shade names in each palette, it reads a short poem (see below). I love the purple tones in this palette. All the shadows with the exception of one felt soft and smooth and blended out with ease. The shade Always was a disappointment. It looks like a light pink with sparkles in the pan however on the eye there was no pigmentation. The shadow was a little stiff and hard to pick up any product on the brush. The other shades varied from medium to buildable coverage and wore for seven hours.
Frivoluxe: Fabulous! Always dress outrageously and how you want. Who has time for less?
