MAKE UP FOR EVER's Artist Liquid Matte Lipsticks - 103, 105, 107 Review and Swatches
The new Artist Liquid Matte Lipsticks are the latest addition to MAKE UP FOR EVER's growing range of lip products. The new dreamy liquid matte lipsticks are perfect for the Spring days ahead of us. There are six shades in this line ranging from nude and pink shades. Each lipstick retails for $25 and is sold at Sephora.
These liquid lipsticks are long lasting and have great colour payoff. The formula is light and comfortable and dries to an opaque matte finish. They contain beeswax to assist with the long wear and it also contains avocado oil to help nourish the lips.

103 - Warm Beige
105 - Rosewood
107 - Neutral Beige
109 - Praline
203 - Cold Pink
I was sent three shades which you will see swatches below.
As pretty as these lipsticks looked swatched, they don't look the same on my lips. I'm not sure if it is my tan from my recent trip to Barbados but the lipsticks look almost clay like on me, possibly because they contain mineral clay. It makes my lips look like concealer lips. I do however, really enjoy the formula as it is light weight and very pigmented. I've been pairing the lipsticks with a gloss to get a better match. I will try wearing these alone again once my tan fades. Perhaps the more pink toned shades would match my complexion better at this time. Having said that, I would recommend these if you're looking for a comfortable liquid matte lipstick.
