Pixi Beauty GelTint & SilkGlosses and Sheer Cheek Gel
Pixi Beauty has recently launched two new lip and cheek products which I will be sharing with you today. Pixi has some amazing products that are already included in my daily rotation so I was very pleased to receive the GelTint & SilkGlosses as well as the Sheer Cheek Gel to review.
GelTint & SilkGlosses - $12 USD
I love a good gloss and these ones are unique as it comes with a tint on the other end of the tube. There are three different shade combos available. The formula of the tints and glosses are thin and non-sticky with light coverage. The tubes are on the bulky side but that is typical with most dual use products. They can be worn alone or layered for extra dimension. I prefer to wear the gloss on top of the stain because the stain does not give enough coverage on my pigmented lips. Both are hydrating and don't dry out your lips. BerryTint & SweetGloss is my favourite shade as it is a mauvy colour. PinkTint is a beautiful pink shade that would look good on all skin tones. BeachTint looks very vivid in the tube but doesn't appear that way on the lips.
Sheer Cheek Gel - $12 USD
I was so intrigued to try these because I haven't tried any liquid blushes before. The formula is a sheer gel that is meant to leave a natural flush and it does just that. It is light weight, oil free, fragrance-free and hypoallergenic as well as moisturizing. Only a little amount of product is needed to give a fresh and healthy glow. They are perfect for no "no makeup days" or a base for powder blushes to extend it's wear. It blends seamlessly into the skin or foundation. I like to apply it to my cheeks with my fingers and blend it in with a dual fibre brush. There are three available shades which are all swatched below. The shade Flushed looks very daring in the tube but sheers out beautifully as do the rest. The cute tubes they come in are ideal for travelling.
