Givenchy has launched a new mascara but this isn't just any regular mascara. The Noir Interdit Mascara comes with a unique wand. It has an innovated 90° bendable brush that ensures lashes are deeply reached from the root up, inspired by Givenchy's backstage shows. It features a stretching formula to create a lash extension effect. It is available in one shade which is black and is sold exclusively at Sephora for $38 CAD and $29 USD.
The mascara comes in a thick and luxe black packaging with a grey ribbon detail. The wand takes some time getting used to. At first, I wasn't too sure how to bend the wand without getting my hands dirty with the product but I've been using the bottle to bend the wand. I find it a bit awkward to use on the left eye with my left hand. The wand itself has bristles on one side only that feel like stiff plastic. I usually have issues with mascaras transferring to my lids but I didn't experience that with this one. There was no smudging or clumping. The Noir Interdit coats your lashes evenly and provides some length. The formula is lightweight which allows it to be buildable. I don't have thick long lashes so I need a mascara that can curl, provide length and volume. Unfortunately, this mascara doesn't perform as well as I would hope, especially at this price point.
Have you tried this mascara?
