Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Cheek to Chic Blush - Review & Swatches

Charlotte Tilbury’s best selling lipstick Pillow Talk, a creamy rose shade has inspired an entire collection. The Pillow Talk collection is complete with a blusher and eyeshadow palette. The collection was sold out the first two releases but due to the high demand from beauty lovers, it is back as a permanent addition to the Charlotte Tilbury website and stores as of this month. Today I have the Cheek to Chic blush to share with you. The blush retails for $50 CAD and $40 USD at Charlottetilbury.com and Nordstrom.

The Pillow Talk Blush is a two tone pink and champagne powder blush. It is meant to be applied in a two step process - Swish and Glow (see below). The outer rim is a rosy brown shade used to warm up the cheeks and the center shade is a champagne highlighter to be used as a finishing accent; although, I find it more practical to sweep your brush over both shades. The formula is filled with finely crushed pearls to give your skin a natural glow. Both powders are soft, silky and finely milled. They blend effortlessly on the skin leaving a just-kissed flush to the cheeks. This shade is universally flattering and buildable for the perfect luminous glow.

How to use:

Swish: Swish your brush around the outer shade and tap off excess. Run the brush flat up the cheekbone, starting from the apple of the cheek, to structure the face.

Glow: Take the pointy end of your blush brush, dip it in the center colour and tap off excess. Apply to the apples of the cheeks to make them pop and glow. Blend seamlessly together.
