NYX Cosmetics Can't Stop Won't Stop Concealer - Review, Photos & Swatches
There have been so many new concealers launching lately from Fenty, Morphe, MUFE and now NYX Cosmetics. The beauty junkie in me wants to try them all! I’ve been testing out the Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Concealer for a week now and today I will be sharing my thoughts on this new release. There are 24 available shades that are said to last for up to 24 hours. The shades are meant to complement the Can’t Stop Won’t Stop foundation range. The full coverage concealer promises to “camouflage imperfections, brighten up your face and contour those features to perfection”. The creamy formula provides a matte coverage. The Can’t Stop Won’t Stop concealer retails for $12 CAD and $8.50 USD. I have nine shades that I will be swatching below.
The applicator included is a slanted and it allows you to pick up more or less product with no trouble for an easy application. The consistency of the concealer is creamy and on the thick side. It is full coverage and it blends best with a brush. My beauty sponge seems to wipe the product away. Upon first application my skin looked really dry and the concealer emphasizes my fine lines. However, after I set it with powder and setting spray and let it sit for a while, it looks much better. It’s weird but once it settles into the skin it looks smooth and leaves a matte finish. Also it dries really fast which doesn’t give you a lot of time to work with it. I recommend working in sections otherwise it won’t blend easily. Once my face is set and is still wet from the setting powder, I then like to go in with the sponge and blend it some more. I haven’t been able to find my exact match out of the shades I received. Caramel is a little dark so I mix it with shade Neutral Buff to lighten it up. This concealer does require more work than other concealers but it seems the more love you give, the better the outcome. It’s definitely is a long-wearing concealer and it doesn’t crease throughout the day. For the price point, you can’t go wrong. If you have a dry under eye area and like more moisturizing concealers, this may not be for you.
