Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation and Magic Vanish Colour Corrector: Review & Swatches
Charlotte Tilbury has just revealed her biggest launch of 2019 with two magical complexion products. The queen of complexion, Charlotte, has been perfecting these products from many months. They’re her secret to creating flawless, poreless looking skin. Intrigued? I know I am. First up is the Airbrush Flawless Foundation that is a weightless, full coverage matte foundation. Secondly are the Magic Vanish Colour Correctors. I attended the brand’s press event last week and had the chance to preview and play with both of these new products. I also got colour matched prior to taking some portrait shots (see below). It’s always nice to get glammed and have your photo taken. The foundation and colour correctors will be available on August 22nd at charlottetilbury.com and Charlotte Beauty Wonderland stores and August 29th worldwide.
Airbrush Flawless Foundation - ($53 CAD)
The foundation fluid is housed in a pretty sleek frosted bottle with the brand’s classic rose gold accents. The bottle was actually designed with a ergonomic fit and has pump that doesn’t pump out too much product at once. The full coverage, matte foundation is available in 44 skin coded shades to match your skin tone and undertone. The foundation was tested on 650 people of every skin tone and Charlotte has grouped her shades Fair, Medium, Tan and Deep. All carrying 14 Cool (blue, pink, red), 14 Warm (yellow, peachy, golden) and 16 Neutral (pink, olive, sallow) undertones. The formula contains skin care benefits to reduce the appearance of wrinkles by 22% and hydrate the skin for up to 24 hours. I was shade matched to shade 9W which falls under the Golden & yellow shades. I find it oxides a bit once it dries. My pores looked reduced but it did emphasize some texture I had around the lip and chin area. It is definitely a full coverage matte foundation as it hides my marks I have from acne scarring and keeps me from looking oily. I don’t usually wear foundation but if I have to I prefer them to look more dewy and natural than the Airbrush Flawless Foundation. I haven’t worn it long enough to test the moisture levels but it does have a slight cooling effect.

Magic Vanish Colour Correctors - ($38 CAD)
The new colour correctors are available in four shades to suit all skin tones. The corrector comes in a super cute rose gold compact with a mirror and is perfect to pop in your makeup bag for on-the-go. The formula is lightweight and creamy. It feels soft and hydrating on the skin and it doesn’t crease underneath my makeup. It helps to brighten and lift the eye area while hiding the appearance of my dark circles. The available shades are Fair, Medium, Tan and Deep. I love how pigmented the shade Tan is and there is even a shade darker for deeper skin tones. You don’t usually see that many variations of peach/orange correctors. I typically use an orange concealer to colour correct and I’m so glad to have this new addition. The formula also contains skin care benefits that I’ve listed below:
Flavanoids – derived from the unripe sweet orange (Citrus senesis), help to visibly diminish the appearance of under eye puffiness
Carnauba Wax – adds structure and body to the formula, acting as an emollient, allowing for smooth application
Mica – provides a smooth, silky feeling to the powder, as well as an outstanding illuminating effect, which enhances the appearance of skins luminosity
Microspheres – spherical particles promote better blendability on the skin for a more natural looking finish
