Mac Nutcracker Sweet Collection - Copper Face Compact, Sweet Vision Powder and Nude Lipstick Kit

Mac's holiday collection this year has been inspired by the Nutcracker play. The line includes everything from glitters, eye pencils to lipsticks and highlighters. Each item is dressed in a colourful take on candy cane and nutcracker designs in pink, plum and gold. Besides the Selena Collection, this beautifully wrapped collection may be the most coveted yet. Particularly for myself as I've been dying to get my hands on the most anticipated item, the Sweet Copper Face Compact. There are also many lip, eye and face gift sets this year but I had to refrain from getting too many things. Below you will see my picks from this collection.
Nutcracker Sweet Copper Face Compact ($42 CND)
This duo includes an extra dimension blush and highlighter in Pleasure Model and Whisper of Gilt; both shades are repromotes. The compact has a magnetic closure and includes a mirror inside. The case it is housed in is absolutely stunning and so is the embossed aiguillette from the nutcracker's uniform. Whisper of Guilt is described as pale good shimmer shade and Pleasure Model is a peachy brown shade. There are many dupes out there for Whisper of Gilt and I'm sure I own a few but as a collector, I'm so happy to have gotten my hands on this very sought out highlighter.

Magic Dust Powder - Sweet Vision ($33.50 CDN)
Can we take a second to admire the star embossed design? Just gorgeous! The box is also designed with pink stars. Sweet Vision is described as a pinky peach shade with gold pearl. When swatched in stores, it had a good colour payoff and was very blendable.
Nutcracker Sweet Nude Lipstick Kit ($42 CDN)
This is the first time I've seen Mac come out with a kit filled with miniature goodies. The set includes four mini lipsticks in lush toffee brown shades. It comes packed in a stylish drawer styled box designed in pink and plum with gold accents.

The Nutcracker Sweet Collection is definitely a collector's dream. The packaging and designs are exquisite. I also love the colour combos they chose for this collection. I'm hoping to add some more items to my collection but for now, I will just admire these gems I already purchased.
