Anastasia Beverly Hills - Modern Renaissance Palette: Review, Photos and Swatches

Hi loves!

Anastasia Beverly Hills recently released another stunning eyeshadow palette, the Modern Renaissance Palette  ($42 USD/$55 CDN).  I own most of Anastasia's palettes and I wasn't going to pass up on this beauty.  Unlike the previous palettes , this one will remain a permanent staple in their line.  The palette was inspired by the colours in Renaissance Art with a modern day take designed for warm-tone lovers like myself.  Don't be disappointed if you're a cool toned type of gal, a new palette is in the works.

I'm obsessed with the mauve colour packaging with white and rose gold print.  The felt material feels so smooth and soft.  Included inside, is a mirror and dual sided brush similar to her other palettes.

The palette includes 14 shades, 11 matte and 3 shimmer neutral and berry tone colours.  I'm quite drawn to the pink and orange shades in this palette.  The shades are very pigmented,  velvety to the touch and fade resistant.  They also blend amazingly.  I have not stopped wearing it since I purchased it.  To name a few favourites, Burnt Orange, Primavera, Buon Fresco, Love Letter and Realgar have been on repeat. A couple of shades swatched patchy such as Cyprus Umber and Red Ochre but I have not tested these shades on the eyes as yet. This beautiful and timeless palette can be used to add elegance to your day to night looks.
