Pur Cosmetics Vanity Palettes - Dream Chaser and Goal Digger

Pur Cosmetics just launched two new palettes with an ingenious concept. The palettes have a feature that isn't visible at first sight. At first glance it looks like a regular palette but the compact has a retractable standing mirror that converts the compact into a mini vanity. The Vanity Eye and Cheek Palettes were designed for those with a busy lifestyle, like myself. It makes your on-the-go application much easier to transform your look from day to night. Each palette retails for $36 USD and $49 CDN.

Each palette contains four eyeshadows, one blush, a bronzer and an illuminator. The compact is sizable but slender and very travel friendly. Housed inside the palette is an oversized mirror that is the perfect size for quick touch ups. You just have to pull the mirror upward to transform into a vanity.

The vanity compacts are available in two shade options. 'Goal Digger' contains shimmer shades which is reflected in the shiny packaging. 'Dream Chaser' has more warm neutral and matte tones housed within a compact that is also matte to help differentiate the two palettes apart.

I love the unique design and functionality of the mirror in these vanity palettes. I've never seen anything of its kind. They are very convenient for when your on the go for quick touch ups. Both palettes are equally beautiful. As mentioned, one has cool toned shimmer shades and the other has warmer neutral shades. I like the blush and bronzer shades in both, however the bronzer in Dream Chaser won't work on darker complexions as a bronzer. I found the highlighter and some shadows in the Dream Chaser palette were a little on the powdery side. Overall, I think this is a great palette for people with active lifestyles.
