Fenty Beauty has released Metallic Eye + Lip Crayon sets for this holiday season to frosty looks and channel your inner ice queen. The limited edition trio is available in three complementary options. The crayons are multi-purposed to be used on the eyes and lips. The crayons are decked in chrome packaging to match the shade on the inside. They come is a portable “mirrored case for staying frosted on the fly”. The trio retails for $48 CAD and $39 USD.

As per the brand, these crayons can be used as eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipstick or lip liner. I found they underperformed in all areas. On the lids there wasn’t enough pigmentation. The formula isn’t as creamy as advertised; it’s very thin. They tug slightly and require layers to get an opaque coverage. They set fast making it difficult to blend. The tip of the crayon is too thick to apply it as liner but that’s just my opinion. The shades are not versatile for me to want to wear them both as an eyeshadow or lipstick. Sunfrost and Ice Dunes are not shades I would wear as a lipstick. The application on the lips was also poor. They tug leaving a patchy coverage and they are drying.

Unfortunately the Frost Hunny set was a miss for me. For the price point, there are some other great crayons on the market that are much more pigmented and creamier.
