Huda Beauty Nude Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette - Nude Rich: Review, Makeup Look & Swatches

The newest Obsessions palette was recently launched introducing three nude palettes. The available palettes are Nude Light, Nude Medium and Nude Rich. Each one containing nine complementary matte and shimmer shades. Created to suit every skin tone and eye colour. The Nude Obsessions Palettes retail for $37 CAD and $27 USD Sephora.

I would normally fall within the medium skin tone range but I decided to pick up the Nude Rich which was designed to complement darker skin tones. I love the snakeskin packaging on each palette. The outer packaging matches the rich shades on the inside. There are five mattes and four shimmery eyeshadows. The matte shades range from dark chocolate browns, crimson red, dusty rose and sandy fawn with pink undertones. The metallics range from burnished gold, blushed bronze, dusty rose and deep brown metallics. The shimmers apply best with your fingers. They have a soft creamy texture. The chunkier metallics didn’t get pick up much pigment with a dry brush. The reddish copper shimmer is so gorgeous and I’m wearing below on my lids. The mattes are firmly pressed in the palette and have a light powdery texture. They apply very pigmented on the lids and I was able to lend them with no issues. I like the warm pink undertones in the mattes. Overall, I think it is a great palette that packs a lot of pigment and will be great for creating holiday looks and perfect for travel as well.
