Sol Shimmering Body Powders - Review, Photos & Swatches

Sol Body, Colorpop’s sister company, has extended its glow products with the launch of the shimmering body powders. These body powders bring a ton of shimmer and are super soft and blendable. The powders are housed in a rosey nude square packaging and the pan sizes are huge. There are six available colour options that complement the Sol Body glow oils. Today I will be swatching five of as the Pink Champagne shade was just released days ago. Sol Body offers high-quality products at an affordable cost just like Colourpop. Each highlighter retails for $14 USD at Colourpop.com and contains 10 g of product.

The highlighters provide an effortless sparkly glow without the mess of oils. They’re infused with a subtle tropical coconut aroma that smells heavenly. You can apply them with your fingers, a brush for a soft diffused glow which is what I do for a more everyday looks. The brand has also released an oversized body blending sponge that helps to bluff the shimmer into the skin for the most intense glow. It really helps blend the product nicely into the skin. There wasn’t much transfer on my clothes but if you touch it, there will be glitter on your hands. The glow lasts all day without fading. You can also wear them on your eyes. Shades Warm Gold, Rosé and Golden are amongst my faves. Platinum would look amazing on fair skin tones and Bronze on darker skin.
