The Mini Lila Palette is an older palette that was on sale at Sephora so I couldn’t help but pick it up. It is an extension shade-range of the Lila Palette that features 5 brand new shades. The plum and violet colour scheme is so fun with a mix of shimmers and mattes. I was drawn to the vibrant purple and purple-blue duo-chrome shade in this mini palette. Its compact size makes it perfect for travel. The Mini Lila Palette is still available on Sephora.com for $12.50 USD.

The palette is slightly cool-toned but contains two neutral shades. One matte (Flint) and the other is a metallic (Linen). Linen is a soft gold metallic that is smooth and creamy however I noticed creasing on the lids within a few hours. Flint is a richly pigmented soft brown that blends well and makes for a great transition shade. Poison Berry is a magenta matte shade that is slightly drier but blended out well on the eyes. Blue Dahlia is a purple-blue shade with cool undertones and a sparkling finish. The texture was dense and difficult to pick up pigment. It took some building as well as a blue base to get the pigmentation I was looking for to create the above look. Perhaps for an everyday look that wouldn’t be required. There was also quite a bit of fall out with this shade. Lastly, the shade Raisin is a medium plum matte shade. The pigmentation is opaque and it also has a drier texture which made it harder to blend but it was workable.

Overall, I really like the look I created with the Mini Lila Palette. It was the perfect palette to use to create the look I had in mind. Even though the gold metallic shade was a miss for me, I have plenty of those shades so that doesn’t bother me. If you plan on using the Blue Dahila shade, I recommend doing your eyes first before your base products so you can clean up the fallout. I don’ to own any of the full version palettes from Natasha Denona and I hear the formula is not quite the same on the mini palettes which is a bummer.
