Charlotte Tilbury The Super Nude Lipsticks: Review and Swatches

Charlotte Tilbury has launched a nude makeup collection that is inspired by the ’90s. Think cool-girl nudes from the 90s supermodel era. The Super Nude Collection includes five new gorgeous nude lipstick shades inspired by 90s Super Star DNA! They are nudes for everyone and flatter all skin tones whether you have fair, medium, or deep skin, from cool to warm. There are four Matte Revolution Lipsticks and One K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick formula (exclusive to charlottletilbury.com). The lipsticks retail for $39 CAD at Sephora (more retailers linked at the bottom of the posts).

The lipsticks come in blush pink boxes and the traditional rose gold casing. Finding the right nude can be difficult depending on skin and lip tone. Especially on my tan complexion, some nudes end up looking like concealer lips on me. Surprisingly, most of the new shades from this launch ended up working for me and are pretty wearable shades. Cover Star is a little too light but I can make it work when paired with a lip liner or another shade from the line. It would be better suited for lighter skin tones and those who enjoy cool-toned nudes. Catwalking and Runaway Royalty are my top two faves from the bunch; they’re the perfect nudes for me, like my natural lips but better. Super Model and Super Fabulous are great for a fall lip and for those with darker skin tones. The formula and wear of these lipsticks were in line with Charlotte’s standards - pigmented, easy to apply, layer, and are long wear. I personally prefer the finish on the K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick over the Matte Revolution formula.

If you love the iconic nude-pink Pillow Talk, you’ll love these shades. I’m going to be wearing these nudes all fall because I love rosey nude lipsticks. It’s not often that I can find the perfect nude lip and Charlotte did a great job with creating these wearable shades for everyone.
