Sephora VIB 2017 Sale Haul
Hi Beauties!
Today I will be sharing my haul from the recent Sephora VIB sale. Fair warning, my haul is not huge as I was trying to be good; although I did end up purchasing a few more items than planned. There were only two products that I really wanted but I was only able to get my hands on one. I called every Sephora within 50 km to locate the Anastasia Beverly Hills Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit but it was sold out everywhere and won’t be back in stock until May 8th. Nonetheless, I’m happy with my purchases so let’s get started.
Tarte Magic Wands Brush Set
This was one of the items I really wanted and I’m so glad I was able to get my hands on this limited edition set. I love the look of the unicorn-horn handles, it’s just beautiful and the bristles are so soft. Read more here.
Tarte Spellbound Sprinkle Face and Body Glitter
I’ve been loving loose body glitters since I purchased the Touch my Body Powder from the Mac Mariah Carey collection (see here). As that one is limited edition, I tend to not use it as much so I thought this one would be a great addition to my rotation. Don’t let the size of the container fool you, this highlighter adds a great punch. A little really does go a long way and it is very affordable (see a swatch here).
Sephora Favorites – Give me Some Nude Lip
I’ve always wanted to buy one of these sets but they sell out so fast or sometimes the items are a hit or miss. This set has very wearable colours and some brands that I’ve been wanting to try out. The set comes with 6 lipsticks, 5 deluxe and one full sized. I will have a full review including swatches on these.
Smashbox Be Legendary Liquid Lip - Petal Metal
This lipstick is described as a liquid lipstick that is rich in colour and has a high shine finish. Petal Metal is described as metallic rose gold shade. It is so beautiful and makes a great lip topper on nude lipsticks. It gives the appearance as if you put a powder highlighter on your lips. The metallic finish adds dimension to the lips making them appear fuller in size when applied to the center.
Ouai Dry Shampoo Foam
I've heard so many great things about this brand so I picked up this dry shampoo during the sale to test it out. It is a waterless foam that is meant to remove oil and product buildup. It works well on second, third or fourth day hair. I've used it a couple of times and it adds volume while masking any oil. My hair tends to get really oily on third day hair and the foam helps to refresh my hair and extend another day of unwashed hair. I really like the foam formula, it is light weight and doesn't leave any white residue like most dry shampoos. Unfortunately after using this a handful of times, the aerosol has clogged and is broken. I will try to unclog it but if I can't, I will be returning it.
