NYX's Lid Lingerie Shadow Palette - Review, Photos and Swatches

NYX Cosmetics has come out with a new eyeshadow palette that is inspired by their matte Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks. The Lid Lingerie palette contains 6 matte neutral shades. The palette retails for $10 CAD/USD and is sold at Ulta, NYX and other retailers that sell the brand.

For a travel size palette, the pan sizes are surprisingly big. The shadows are really pigmented and they blend well. When swatched they appeared a little powdery but it was a different case on the lids. It had a soft smooth texture on the lids and is very buildable with no fallout. The colour selection is very lovely and would be suitable for all skin tones light to deep. The top middle shade is a dupe for Anastasia Beverly Hills Buon Fresco shadow from the Modern Renaissance Palette. The top right burnt orange shadow also makes a great transition shade.

I think this a great everyday palette that can easily take you from day to night using the darker tones to create a smokey eye. The compact is convenient for travel or on-the-go. You also can’t go wrong with the price. It is an affordable palette that performs very well. The shades are long lasting and have an amazing colour payoff.
